"Comfy Cozy" Mittens Pattern

My son loves to be "Comfy Cozy" and since I have been learning to knit I thought it would be fun to make him some mittens to keep him Comfy Cozy. When I finished, he wanted to try them on and ended up wearing them  for over an hour while hanging out in my bed being "Comfy Cozy".
I am pretty happy with how they turned out. I noticed I wasn't as particular with how tight my knits were on the second one as i had been on the first, which is why the second is slightly wider than the first. So when you make these, or any other paired item, try to pay attention to how tight you are knitting. of course my son wont notice it or anyone else (unless they were looking for imperfections), so even though I thought about redoing it, I decided it wasn't a big deal.
I ended up tweaking the pattern that I used, mostly because I used a different size yarn then the original pattern suggested so I will post the pattern I ended up using as well as the link to the original. Enjoy!!!

Needles: 4 double point needles (dpn)
Yarn: I used "I Love This Yarn" Morning Glow print from Hobby Lobby. It is a worsted weight #4, 100% acrylic. I used maybe 1/3 of the skein.
Needle sizes: 2.25 (US 1)  and 3.25 (US 3)

Size 2T-4T
My sons hands are 5.5" around his palm and 4.5" from the bottom of his hand to his fingers tips. These are a good fit with good wiggle room for his fingers. They are big enough that they should fit next year still.

K – Knit
P – Purl
pm – Place marker
